Parents! Want some ideas for ways to help your child with basic facts?

The NZ Maths site is our greatest resource! Stage 4 and 5 games and activities are really important. Next term this is a school wide focus, so get a head start with your child over the holidays :)

The Cable Car Museum

We had a great time learning how the Cable Car works, and all about the old Cable Car. We also learnt about how people in Wellington can build their houses high up on hilltops by building their own little cable cars. Watch this space for Clifford's ride in a private little cable car in the next few days, he just needs to return from Kapiti Island, with Erinn, first :)
Heading up!

Through the tunnels...

Clifford enjoying the view.

Sitting outside on the old Cable Car

What a smile :)
What a responsibility to look after Clifford all day.

Clifford loves the Cable Car ride.

We are off up the hill!

The Museum Of City and Sea

Clifford, our class mascot, checks out the Paddy the Wanderer fountain.
The top part is for humans and the bottom part is for dogs!
On Friday 1st April we visited the Museum Of City and Sea as part of our Wellington study. We learnt about a dog, a little bit like Vino, who belonged to everyone.
Here is a photo and story about Paddy, the Wanderer from a Wellington newspaper.
